>>23304901I've tried to give this thing a chance, i really did. After all, there's been over 700 pokemon and i can count in one hand those that i don't feel too strongly about or that i dislike. Pokemon designs are Great for the most part. But THIS thing, it just doesn't hold up. I tried to see if i could warm up to it, but fanart and anime appearances made me realize that the design simply cannot withstand scrutiny.
The more i look into it, the less sense it makes. Not only does it let down it terms of evolutionary progression, it doesn't excel at nearly anything it does.
Needle-like lower legs settled on grossly humongous this that would definitely make it imposibble to move without shattering; Jawless Face with virtually no definition except for overlayed anime eyes and mouth; the oft-mentioned problems with the Eyes and the antennae completely disregarding previous evolutionary members' descriptions of them, making it seem as if was indeed handled by someone else that wasn't sure of the original intentions of the design progression; add to that the apparent template design dragon approach its body shape has and you get a dull mess of a design.
If you want to get into mechanics (which i personally don't, because gameplay doesn't weave into a pokemon's design), it's dissapointing in-game especially among Pseudos. I can also think of many other pokemon that handle the "cute" theme in a more apt way. I can defend nearly every pokemon, but Go0dra i simply can't find much worth defending. My apologies if you like it.
