Run max speed, weak armor, white herb and shell smash. Sticky Web / speed pass support is pretty much mandatory.

Also, if you're feeling like a real risk taker, swap out White Herb with Weakness Policy.

Mega. The shell has broken off, and an enormous fire now rages where it was. Magcargo's body has elongated, and it gets back those fire eyebrows it had as Slugma. The shell fragments line the sides of its body. Now a pure Fire type.

Ability is Blazing Heat. Water-type moves evaporate when used on it, doing no damage and instead creating a steam shroud which lowers the accuracy of all opponents on the field by one stage.

Loses points in attack and defense, and all of its boosts are put into special attack and speed.

The idea is a pure Fire type.

How about the ability also lowers the opponent's accuracy by one stage every turn in rain as well?

I dont see whats wrong with this thing? So many moves, so much potential

Just run a sub for shell smash or run toxic/iron defense/flame body/lava plume/recover for defense

Play to its strength

Only thing make this thing better is an addition of solid rock ability.

A real evolution. Still won't fix it since Rock/Fire is more of an offensive typing. It would have to be the most sanic snail to be relevant.

out of the johto dex, you couldn't get a bunch of legendaries, the fossils (despite getting their items), the kanto starters (i wish they would've made prof. oak give them out as soon as i got to his lab), pichu, pikachu and raichu and houndour and houndoom. but apart from that you could get everything
