Gamefreak decides to pull a Smash and starts to tweak certain pokemon (changing their BSTs or the power/effect of certain moves) during their game patches. What would happen?

What would get hit?

I liked that GF gave out a few BST boosts at the start of Gen VI. They could do a lot more of that.

They should also maybe level the playing field between old Pokémon and their power-creep alternatives.

For example, Ninjask BST +29, Forretress +24, etc.

If Forretress were as minmaxed as Ferrothorn and had The same BST, it would be a great alternative. Stats would be:

75/90/140/54/110/20
