TPCI just needs to up the damn budget as well as work with CN so they can get some real good promotion going on. I know if new Pokemon eps were coming on the Thursday night that they were airing in Japan, I'd sure as hell watch them just cause it'd be criminally easy to do so.

It's still a decent source of revenue for TPCi, and an instrumental piece of their advertising efforts. The show will move to a new network or go to streaming online sooner than it'll be outright cancelled, barring the source show going down itself.
As for the first point, I'd bet that if they got their shit together and worked with CN to get a better timeslot, and better promotion, the profits would significantly increase. They probably don't see it to be worth the risk though

Though not all of them, many of the dubs current problems are down to Wayland being a slacker. Cathcart's shitty writing doesn't help, but we've seen that the TPCi cast can act when they're directed properly. Take Diancie for example, Caitlin Glass, a seasoned Funimation actress, under Wayland's 'direction' came out irritating despite being a talented actress.
If Wayland was fired and a real director was brought in, I have no doubt that the voice quality would improve dramatically.

Diantha calling Sycamore "dear Augustin", interacting with both at the cafe, Sycamore obviously knows Lysandre since quite some time, and Malva well she's a part of Team Flare and an E4 she knows both Diantha and Lysandre Diantha and Sycamore already interacted in the anime though they didn't seem to know each other or at least didn't sound as close as in the game. I'm curious to see all of them interact, I just want the Team Flare arc to begin already.
