You would only lose the alpha transparency of the PNG due to the conversion to JPEG.

Depends. You talking ingame, or for multiplayer? For the former, just make sure your EXP Share is turned on in your Key Items menu and watch as the game becomes the easiest fucking thing ever. For multiplayer, there's not much you CAN do. It's pretty bad. Could recommend you pick up the Swords Dance TM at Lumiose once it becomes available.

Bonemerang will get you the same BP as Earthquake, albeit at 10% less accuracy, with the bonus of breaking through Sturdy and Substitutes. In layman's terms, those faggot Rock and Steel types that keep hanging on with 1 HP when you are supposed to OHKO them will actually go down.

Another thing common for cubone is that they need a thick club to boost how hard they hit.
