Is ORAS harder than previous gens somehow? I feel like NPC battles fuck up my team way more than in previous games and wild pokemon are just harder to kill in general despite my team being like lv17-18 and them being like 18-19

Don't make fun of me, I'm still at the start because I've just never felt like playing. Maybe I caught pokemon with far worse stats than usual. It feels like everything is more of a grind than usual and even a lv17 vs lv18 matchup takes ages and leaves the pokemon I'm trying to train with like no HP.

I just don't wanna use the epx share.
