I hate Galvantula.

To me, it's a very lazy design in terms of typing. It's bug/electric, and normally I'd be thrilled about a Pokemon receiving a never before used type combination. But the Galvantula line is just a spider who's arbitrarily electric themed. Other bug types derive their secondary typing from the species they're based off of. Volcarona is fire type because it's an atlas moth. Surskit is a water type because it's a water strider. Galvantula, rather than being something tangentially related to lightning like a lightning bug or moth attracted to bright light, is just a spider painted yellow. The connection is forced, inorganic and the result of just mushing an animal together with a type with no justification.
