I've never hated a shiny version more than that evolutionary line. Pink and Yellow just clash so hard. Sad thing is I really love base weavile.

Anyone else have a pokemon who they love, but whose shiny version they absolutely despise?

I think most of the shiny green ones look terrible. Or at the very least, they don't hold up to their base counterparts.

When I caught my shiny Zubat I wanted to released it until I evolved it into Crobat for Hoenn Dex completion (As Crobat it still has a weird but more acceptable coloration)

I don't mind shiny Weavile that much actually, it looks fabulous

Many green/yellow shinies are fucking awful, but every now and then ones like Dragonite and Lucario actually look decent for what they are. I want to see how shiny Noivern looks in-game though, Serebii's image for it is jaggy as fuck.

Nothing is worse than the lazy recolors which are barely different to the originals, though. Who the hell in Gamefreak comes up with these?
