Nope, makes the game much more enjoyable to effectively "buy" it.

Only downside is when you finish rank 79, you have to wait on daily 20 diamonds so you can afford some final upgrades or do some legendary hunting.

World Championship X is real bullshit. I can only get as far as defeating Zekrom and Reshiram.

It seems as though that legendary pokémon can appear without fever, if you've caught all other pokémon in that stage or maybe balloon.

It's useful in end game, just check every balloon and keep an eye out for the really useful legendaries like Cobalion, Dialga and Arceus.

Roar of time has a pseudo-flinch effect, and very wide reach. Pair it with hone claws and you have something useful for clearing hordes in battle royales.

Sacred Sword is very spammable, one of the highest DPS moves in the game. Of the four muskateers though, Cobalion also gets Hone Claws.

Arceus can be any type and its judgement fires 5 autohoming shots of relatively high damage output. Plus, it too can learn hone claws.

Yeah, Hone Claws is better for the hit ratio boost, making moves more spammable.
It's especially noticeable with Sacred Sword.
The trouble with Swords Dance is you get a hit ratio decrease on the first move.

I don't remember if there's a probopass boss but if there is that's your best chance to rack up on a lot of them since the mooks are usually the previous evo

The two main features that Rumble Blast has is team battles and charge battles.

Team battles see you and two partner pokémon tackling fortresses, whilst charge battles are basically checkpoints which check your total power of your top pokémon.

I'm at Rank 69, and the highest I've found is an Arceus at about 2240.
Most legendaries, pseudos, and otherwise high offense Pokemon seem to come between 1900 and 2150.

Maybe you should try wobbling common mons that have endeavor so you can teach it to other mons later on.
As for heal pulse, the chikorita line has it so you should try getting one too

I think Heal Pulse and a high power Pokemon with Gutsy+ or just SE attacks tends to work better than endeavor at higher Ranks. Clearing all the minions will definitely help a lot too.

I'm pretty sure it's intentional. Blast had a similar cap although that game didn't have ranks based on Pokemon captured like this. The last few post game battles were about as tough as this World's though.

Alternatively, I was thinking it might be clearing the King's requests that increases the power of Pokemon, and with so few post game requests it could explain why power isn't getting much higher.

I think I just found the perfect Boss catcher.
It's a Gardevoir with Draining Kiss and Heal Pulse.
I attack until it gets to low health and then heal it back and try again until it wobbles, and since Draining Kiss heals the user I can just kill some minions to get back to full health.

The Donphan goonies suck and the fact Zygarde attacks with pretty large AoE moves it can be.
I got it first try though with the help of my Gutsy Superfang Zubat.
'lil fucker is quick. Perfect for speeding around attacks.

Although I almost flipped the fuck out when the next boss 'mon I fought was a Shelgon that used the same EXACT fucking protect strategy as Mienshao.
The only saving grace is that I can just catch one as one of Salamence's goonies.

My 1,400 Dialga can't handle it. The last wave with Mega Garchomp and all those Steelix. My 14,000 Kyorge is my best bet against them but I can't destroy the towers fast enough without getting two shotted by Garchomp. If I do I took to long and can't kill Garchomp in time. Guess I'll just have to wait to do this one what sucks as all my stages take over 3 hours to recharge now so things have way slowed down.

Also holy FUCK fighting Sylveon is the fucking worst. Try to get a few hits in, get stunned by Sylveon, and BAM, 4 Audinos heal him back to full health. Fuck.

You need to beat the "Catch the Garden Intruder" mission, it's around rank 25

Also, what's the best moveset for the Royal Competitions? I had a Celebi with magical leaf, it was great for hitting multiple opponents at once & stunning them. Open to other options though, it sucks that you don't get more than a name at the move tutor shop.

Caught Lugia, whose power was over 100 points above the thing I caught it with. It immediately proceeded to annihilate everything with Aeroblast. As for meloetta, get a pokemon with a quick fighting attack
Asides from that it's just being fast, you might have to do it more than once to complete all the objectives though

Also shows how sucky my mons are when the only who can pass the first ROOm is my Mega Sceptile with 898 power and Dragon Claw.

Not even my Darmanitan and Primal Kyogre (who have 936 and 924 respectivly) Can reach Meloetta. Either because none of its attacks do good damage (Darmanitan) or just flat out are slow as dicks (Kyogre).

And it's not like the game is giving me anything beyond 900 either.

The white smoke puffing out DOESN'T make it a 100% chance of catching it. What it does is up the chances of making the boss wobbly, which is a state that makes the capture rate 100%. To make full use of this, you should use a pokemon (preferably with the gutsy trait) spam endeavor when it's puffing out white smoke, and then finish it with a strong attack when it's wobbling (whether it's from the endeavor mon or quickly switching to a stronger mon)

Because fuck this chesnaught, it is almost constantly under black smoke and only gets to white while under spiky shield

For pokemon that are invulnerable during that (chesnaught and mienfoo come to mind), you need to use a pokemon that knows haze (chesnaught only, i think) and/or feint.

Gutsy is a trait that makes pokemon more likely to wobble, which is a state where if you defeat the pokemon while it's like that, the chance of it dropping will always be 100%
You'll notice a pokemon entered the wobbling state when you hear the same sound as when a pokemon with a trait drops, so that's your cue
People use endeavor because after a certain point, it starts doing only one damage, making it easier to spam until the pokemon wobbles
