The XY anime is moving along pretty quickly. Ash has 3 badges to go (and is set to get badge #4 this time next month). We're also running really low on new Pokemon to show. What's left? Bergmite and Avalugg?
Since the anime often debuts new Pokemon either alongside game announcements or some time before the games, and we're nearly at the point where version #3 would normally be announced...
Not to mention the fact that ORAS debuted a whole bunch of moves, items and megas that are incompatible with XY
Is it possible that we might just see some kind of "Gen 6.5" situation, where version 3 has a whole bunch of new mons that aren't compatible with the other games (South Kalos and Strange Souveneirmon maybe?)
Or will we be getting Gen 7 a lot sooner than anticipated?
