So, I just caught my first ever shiny while doing an X Nuzlocke.

First shiny I ever found was a Vulpix in SS. Confused to death, I think. (I was not as wise back then)

First I ever caught was an Omanyte I hatched in Y.

First Shiny encountered? An Onix in Diamond, which I weakened and when to throw a ball at, but fucked up and tapped "run" instead.

First shiny caught? A Nidorino in SS's safari zone. Was down to one safari ball after trying to get Kangaskhan. Was really pissed that I was probably going to miss my second shiny because lolsafarimechanics, but it got in the ball.

Since then I've caught a shiny Bidoof, Audino, and Bergmite.

Found a Bellsprout, i thought it was a scripted pokemon like Gyarados so i spent a couple of hours looking for it when i restarted the game

First one was an Oddish on a Silver Rom, first one I used was an ingame Pancham in X, I don't think I've ever had the patience to breed a perfect shiny.

I caught a Kadabra in fire red. I was trying to soft-reset a shiny Mewtwo but realized I only had two ultra balls, so I wanted to escape rope out. I didn't have an escape rope, so I ran, and encountered a shiny Kadabra on my way out. Around the same time, I soft-reset a Rayquaza in sapphire. My little bro's level 44 Delcatty got a critical hit blizzard and brought it to the smallest sliver of health left, and it was locked into outrage, so I used a master ball. Not sure which of those was first.

But seriously. I had no luck with shinies until gen 4. Got the pokeradar pretty much figured out and made Vulpix my first shiny because Ninetales is my favorite pokemon. Then, randomly encountered a shiny Golduck while EV training. Lots of pokeradar shinies now, still Golduck as my only natural shiny.

First shiny was a clefairy in firered. I'm actually very unlucky when it comes to shinies, but I've caught 6 in the last month on ORAS for some reason.

Yes I did. It's gone now though, I lost my diamond version which had all my pre-ORAS shinies on it.

I basically started from scratch when ORAS came out, have 12 shinies now though. The second egg I ever hatched in ORAS was a shiny.

Worst was I lost a shiny mantine, if I still had that I would have my 3 favorite pokemon shiny.

Discounting Red Gyarados, my first shiny was a Makuhita in Ruby. He is now a Hariyama in my Black2 game, waiting for me to get some stable wireless internet in the house so that he can come to either Y or Omega Ruby.

First shiny was the red gyarados back in the original gold. Only saw shinies again in gen VI, with the raised odds and all.

Last sunday, and I shit you not, I caught 3 shiny legendaries. Latias, Mesprit and Azelf.
