I never got Scrafty. Isn't that the Pokemon equivalent of a nigger? It's mainly just a lizard with a mowhawk and you don't really expect to find that in the desert. Also, the Dark/Fighting typing doesn't make sense.

Yes, that's why it's Dark/Fighting. And the mohawk, along with the sagging skin "pants" and "hood" are there to help convey them resembling typical hoodlums.

I dunno, I think it's pretty clever execution.

Not that I don't like it. It's just I don't ever mention it or Jellicent when I point out good Gen V designs. Jellicent I also like, but seems more like everyone loves him because he looks like Pringles. Definitely better looking than the jellyfish or squids we have so far.

Gen 5 is my favorite Gen, followed by 4.
I wouldn't be all that upset if Megas were retconned, I only like a handful of them and prefer cross-gen evolutions anyway.
Weather wars were more interesting than the current garbage meta.

I'm fine with the eeveelutions but I hate Eevee because I can't stand the square head and that stupid KAWAII UGUU~ face. Strangely enough that last point isn't an issue with the pikaclones.

Grid based movement sucks dick. Gen 6 made one step in the right direction, bit now it needs to go completely.

There should be more mechanics based on exploration, such as looking for wild pokemon hidden in the background. Grass patches don't sit well with me.

I don't get all the hate on the new exp share. It's a GREAT tool for breeding, and can be pretty handy in-game. If you don't like it just turn the damn thing off. And be aware that this isn't some rrtarted thing like self imposed rules such as nuzlockes , it is just the decision between using an optional item or not. But overall the exp share is one of the best additions of gen 6.

Gen 4/5 are the best gens. 1 and 2 doesn't really hold up today, 3 also has some outdated game mechanics. 6 is horrible for being bland and boring.

Platinum/HGSS/BW/BW2 are the best Pokémon games.

The anime should have taken a similar approach to protagonists to Pokémon Special and retired Ash for a new protagonist when the Kanto seasons ended. There'd be a complete new group of twerps each region/game generation, which would keep the show a lot fresher.

The on-rails nature of the past few instalments are perfect for little kids. It took me forever to find the Gold Tooth, I wasted time on Pokemon tower before getting the Sylph Scope, and I took me forever to find the drink for the thirsty guard, because Gen 1 is so open and encourages exploration. The target audience for these games are kids from 7-12 so a linear experience and crutches like Mega Latios/as are good advancements. I expect the next game to have even more handholding.
