Hey /vp/, I have someone trying to sell me a US/ntsc version of Pokemon platinum. He claims that it's 'region free' and will work fine with an Australian/PAL version n3ds.

Am I being tricked or will it this ntsc DS game work fine with my PAL n3ds?

and I'd like to add that I just got the n3ds and I haven't played pokemon game in over a decade so I apologise if this is a really stupid or obvious question
