>>23364548A lot of the appeal for me has to do with how the clothes get wet. There not being any real reason WHY they go into the water fully clothed beyond "they just didn't mind their clothes getting wet" is a massive turn-on, while someone accidentally falling off a bridge is far less so.
In the scene in
>>23364334 there's no in-story reasoning behind why she just jumps in without even taking her shoes off, there's no extreme urgency to the situation... but still she just jumps straight in and walks around in soaked clothes the rest of the day. That's what makes it such a nice scene.
Same with XY55, where Serena just runs straight into the river, then sits down on her knees, not caring the slightest about her shoes and thighhighs getting wet even though it's have taken less than a minute to take them off before walking in and there's not even any reason for her to sit down like that (Eureka doesn't). She just does. And I love it.
