Actually, if you give him a Liquor Boost, I hear he becomes FAR more powerful than fucking Joe Swanson@Steroids! The problem here is the fact that his health deteriorates and he feels nothing when status'd, meaning Burn will just hurt him more because his hand is burnt.

Have you tried focus sash? Drayden is able to take out most special sweepers in the metagame with mirror coat if he can survive the hit, although I guess you could go for weakness policy, but then you should don mach punch instead of mind reader so you can actually make use of it early in the game, assvest is also an alternative, but then you can't run mind reader at all, obviously.
