I'm curious, what does /vp/ think of Tangrowth?

Personally, it has always been one of my favorites especially among cross-gen evos, but in my opinion its XY model looks like trash.

He's alright I respect em thats alot of attack thats even more special attack good defense mmm crummy spec def, a pretty scary thing on a pure grass poke, design wise I think people are mad because he'e relatively simple compared to other cross-gen evos but I like it... dont get why it evolves via ancientpower but whatever

Design wise it's nothing but a larger Tangela. 0/10.
It should have been made as Tanglelord, the Fire/Grass type I designed when I was five.

Gameplay wise, it's 8/10. Bulky Regenerators are always fun to use.

I feel like Gen IV has an overabundance of the Cross-Gen Evos, to the point where they overshadowed the Original Pokemon of the Generation. That my personal thought.

Related; Tangrowth is cool, the Speed and Special Defense on it hinder things though.

I like mine and run it in a trick room regenerator team with slowking. My current moveset is leaf storm, knock off, rock slide and leech seed, but i've been considering dropping leech seed for an assault vest. What movesets does/vp/ reccomend?

I think Tangrowth is one of the laziest pokemon ever design, not because is a bigger Tangela, but because you can see every single liana on Tangela while Trangrowth is just a big blue blob with some tentacles drawn over

This is the Tangrowth I use on my doubles sun team, and you just can't fucking kill it. Alongside Arcanine with Intimidate, Wisp and Morning Sun, once it lands a seed you're just fucked until sun dies or you get a crit.
