I remember the concept was pretty interesting at first, then it got ruined by the whole ANARCHY vs DEMOCRACY shit. And it didn't help that every fucking mundane action that was taken in the game was turned into a "meme"

It was fun up until Celadon, then all the cancer came in with their "we must get Eevee because it's cute" shit after it had been decided to keep a slot open for Lapras so we could get Surf on a mon with minimal risk.

Then it died completely in the Rocket HQ after the faggot streamer decided to allow cheating because it was taking too long to progress. Tuned it off after that and have no idea what half the shit in the OP is even referring to.

Democracy ruined it. Before that, anarchy turned the game on its head. Strategy guides were made to navigate a series of ledges. The challenges became navigating the world and menus- a totally different game. With Democracy it just became a really slow let's play- winning was inevitable. Adding the Democracy option also made everyone fight each other for how to play the game instead of fighting over inputs.

Experience was fun, and it was a nice way to reinterpret a game we all know by memory. I stopped after Gen 1 though, didnt like the fact that the game they used was hacked.

Lore was the best thing about it.

I followed it from quite early and liked it a lot. Democracy killed it though. If you're in a rush then TPP isn't for you. Watched the whole Red playthrough but it just wasn't the same at the end.
Watched a small bit of the next one as well, but with shit like hourly Democracy and people literally saying "we need to force more memes" it just became too much.

My thoughts almost exactly. The Red play through was pretty fun and most of the memes and "lore" came pretty organically. I watched bits and pieces of the Crystal run here and there but all the stupid lore and shit just felt really derived, like anyone with any originality had moved on. Stopped watching entirely after they fought Whitney I think.
