It's a shitmon. Bad players are 4.5x more likely to use it than good players. It cannot do serious damage to anything in RU, and everyone sees Fake Out coming.

I don't get why its used so much either, but I'll never understand all the people who bitch about it, Hitmonchan, and Claydol (RIP) either. Its a shitmon that gives you one less threat to worry about on the opponents team. I can see NU players wanting them to drop, but its mostly RU players complaining.

This means nothing. The only thing that its space-taking affects is the tiers below it. Even if people stopped using it, they'd just use a different mon that is currently usable in RU.

They're shit and I'm no fan of them but I honestly don't care that 3.something% of teams have a shitmon on them.

When the strongest ghost type they could possible switch into are completely reliant on Eviolite and have shit tier recovery, and when there's fuckall in the tier that matches 115 spped (and even less that's relevant) yeah NU Ambipom would probably be good.

You better be running Toxic Spikes, otherwise all that flinching is a waste of time when you run into something bulky with leftovers recover.

That's, like, the only use I ever found for Ambipom. Putting it on a stall team with Toxic Spikes to run the opponent out of time. I ran Fake Out, Protect, U-Turn, and Knock Off. It was still pretty bad, though.

Not Ambipom specifically, but I never use pokemon I don't like in one way or another.
