Hey /vp/, I need some help here.
For the past week or so I've been MMing for a shiny trapinch. After days and days today I was finally able to hatch one, and I decided to send it over to my new copy of Alpha Sapphire. I triple checked that it was the shiny egg before I sent it over, however when it got there and I hatched it the trapinch wasn't shiny. I have no idea why this happened. I didn't fuck up the eggs, both trapinch are identical in stats. Is a pokemons shininess retained only in the game that it's collected in?
