But still, the powerslime has creeped into the game at an intimidating rate, nonetheless. For example, look at Mega-Pinsir. This bastard was pretty cool during his XY heyday! And he still is, with Aerialate Quick Attack and Return/Double Edge/Thrash. That being said, we now have Mega Salamence, who basically usurped Pinsir and killed him. He ALSO has Aerialate, but no priority. That being said, he has beefed up Defenses and an even better Aerialat niche than Mega Pinsir, not to mention the Attack stats getting huge, with great mixed/special/physical capability.
Think of it this way. As a kid, you love Cap'n Crunch. As you get older, the Crunch Berries get added in. Let's assume the berries are the creep. Now we're at an age where you can literally buy a box of Crunch Berries. It took 40 years for the vanilla cereal to be outclassed. I might have skewered this a bit, but I hope you understand what I mean.
