How much event-content shit is there in fire red/leaf green? I've caught all the secret pokemon in altering cave, and I'm about to head to navel rock and birth island. Is there more?

How did you unlock the Mystery Gifts for Altering Cave? The Wonder Spots were never even released back in 2004.

Everyone knows this already, but VBA has a function that allows you to use action replay codes, which I am sure there are codes to alter the pokemon in the cave

The best way I could find was just to change the spawning pokemon in the cave to those that required the event to get.

You have the tickets, which is Deoxys/Navel Rock. I don't even think Old Sea Map is in there, so hilariously mew's unavailable without hacking or trading.

There's the PCNY events which basically are your Wish Eggs, and then there were some Japan events that I'm not even sure were around in FRLG's time that had shit like Teeter Dance Bellsprout.

AdvanceMap doesn't unlock anything, you're basically just hacking the ROM. Might as well use it for the offsets and make a ROM patch straight in RAM while playing the game that lasts until you power it off.

If we can emulate the e-Reader cards, we sure as heck can emulate Generation III Mystery Gift.

Birth Island is where you find Deoxys, yes. Navel Rock has Ho-Oh and Lugia, plus it's colored silver in FireRed and LeafGreen or gold in Emerald.

Both Navel Rock and Birth Island are in the Sevii Islands and appear in the Town Map of FireRed and LeafGreen but the PokéNav map in Emerald doesn't know where they are.

The Old Sea Map only exists in Emerald, so does Faraway Island.
