>>23378859No. For the most part megas were created (I believe, anyway) to bring some pokemon up to par with the power creep or correct some sort of flaw they might have had. Granted some already powerful pokemon get megas, but mostly just because of the cool factor. In the case of new Kalos pokemon,it makes more sense for them to just design them right the first time, so to speak.
