Okay, but real talk here, I'd be okay with this. Don't get me wrong, casualization of the games is killing me, but that fucking Purugly always gave me a hard time, without fail.

Just drop the cat entirely and give her something that can actually exist at level six-fucking-teen like Lopunny or Snorlax. I can deal with endgame opponents like Lance or Ghetsis pulling this shit because that's when you're supposed to be encountering fully-evolved Pseudos and shit anyway, but there's no reason to put a one-badge trainer against something they're still half a game away from being able to use themselves.

I'm not touching neither Gen IV or eventual Gen V remakes after ORAS. DP were arguably the worst and so were BW as much as I enjoyed them for how insultingly small the games actually are. Pt and 2 saved both gens and we already know there's not going to be anything but an episode for each.
