XY looks better than this shit. It would not have taken long to turn the "cave wall sprite 1" sprite that's pasted a thousand times in the game and turned it into multiple sprites with features like crystals or boulders or a smooth side or fucking ANYTHING.
Battle Frontier is just the most glaring symptom of the big problem. It's a rushed game. Just like Watchdogs, Assassin's Creed, and several other games in 2014.
I feel bad for you that they fucked up your most nostalgic game. I would be furious if they did the same to me.
