It's just more in-line put into the plot like trans identities, dealing with daddy issues, standards of beauty, but you can kinda ignore most of it since it's just integrated into the character design. You don't have to care that larger people aren't considered beautiful and Rebecca is trying to lay out this whole universe where women are beautiful no matter what shape or size, but the decent parts of the cartoon with gem worldbuilding, power shit, and stuff like that are pretty decent.
I keep up with it, but I also have an inbox that gets flooded with SJW stuff every time a new episode happens that puts me at bias noticing all the SJW stuff afterward. It's an enjoyable show if you never touch the fandom, but I gotta make money off commissions somehow.
