My vote is the hunger meter from Minecraft. Imagine running out of food in the middle of Victory Road or something, then the meter reaches zero and your Pokemon's HP starts dropping like they were badly poisoned.

I wish they'd start giving a fifth slot dedicated to out of battle HM use, especially back in Gen IV. Seriously, 8 HMs, plus flash and shit, the fuck were they thinking?

I wouldn't mind a move switch where you can choose your move set before going into battle

Or even better

every move of each pokemon's current level is accessible when battling wild pokemon and the game villans, but when battling in Pokemon League battles or gym battles the move set is still restricted to 4 slots chosen before the battle
