Only one of them will get the ultimate -ate+boomburst mega that will skyrocket it to OU, GF's choice rely on fucking fanbase, so it's going to be Flygon.
But which one deserve this combo ?

Pretty confident Flygon will get Bug version and Noivern will get Aerilate. Would be cool though if Flygon got Ground version.

But what if they both get aerilate and Flying typed megas? Only mega Flygon would be more physically oriented with passable SpA while Mega Broveirn would be the nuke to end all special walls..

Flygon has no reason to get a Flying type Mega. They're trying to diversify these guys but there are already so many Dragon Flying combos that they don't want to overlap.

I've been using a hacked Aerilate Noivern in the Maison, with a Life Orb, and it one-shots most things. I feel like a Mega Noivern would have to look like the following to not warrant a ban to Ubers:

85
70 --> 110 (+40)
80 --> 80 (+0)
97 --> 112 (+15)
80 --> 100 (+20)
123 --> 148 (+25)

15 is probably the most that should be put to SpAtk, accounting for people resorting to +SpAtk nature.

Noivern, because there is actually the -ate ability that matches it's type. Flygon should get a physical mega instead.

GameFeak wont introduce any new abilities that arent exclusive to legendaries mid-gen.

Noivern can be an absolutely insane Skyburst spammer, I just hope Flygon can get something cool that changes how it players, rather than just more speed/attack and same typing and abilities.
