Can anyone explain why the Japanese version of these games are so cheap compared to english? Japanese copies of anything else are way more expensive and these are also older.

But the same is true with US Pokemon games. They are the most common GB games around, there is millions of them.

The reality is that the US retro market, ebay, and autistic collectors helped inflate these prices far higher then they normally would be.

All you have to do is search for Pokemon Japanese bundle on eBay, or just search for Pokemon game, there's at least 5 bundled there at a time
