As I’ve observed before, Serena is right-brained and that’s observed through how she’s creative and intuitive. Whereas Clemont is left-brained due to him being technical and reasoning. It’s defined by their occupations too. Serena is a performer and Clemont is an engineer. It’s defined by what they enjoy cooking as well. Serena likes cooking sweets which is consumed purely for enjoyment. Clemont likes cooking entrees which is consumed for sustenance. The entire dichotomy of the two is defined by how Serena is driven by aesthetics versus how Clemont being driven by function. Clemont and Serena basically represent the ends versus the means.

The problem is that Serena and Ash barely interact together. I find very few moments where Ash and Serena are barely interacting between each other.
This is why Ash and Serena relationship is ranked so low compared to older relationships with Ash.

3. The group. They're all adorable and it's really nice to see a group that's like a family.

5. The cities, they're more realistic and Lumiose city is gorgeous (especially the shot we had at night whith Ash, Serena and Bonnie)

>>23404831 I know, but the other suggestion (of making them into Tracey and Misty) doesn't accurately represent the relationship between Sasuke and Sakura either. Alan and Manon look and feel more similar to them, so I'd like it better if Sickboy drew them. Not to mention all the jokes about XY being just like Naruto and Ash and Alan going to have a Naruto/Sasuke relationship.
