Also, it's implied that Hilbert and N are the reincarnation of the original brothers that used Reshiram and Zekrom to unite the land, though 'brothers' could also refer to brother and sister, I guess.
I don't know about Kalos, but as for Sinnoh it's still ambiguous since both possible protagonists look like Joana and there's no indication of either of them being the canon one. Though since it's the only region with a female champion, that could be a hint.
