>>23405030To each their own, I'm not gonna bash you for that opinion, but I personally feel the current dub is a huge step down from the old dub as of XY as it suffers from the exact same issues as the old dub with editing and BGM replacement (objectively they replace MORE than 4Kids ever did so that's food for thought), and has introduced extremely subpar voice acting, script writing, and music composition as well.
I mean say what you want but 4Kids definitely did a better job than TPCi does now: you could at least tell they cared about the show. With TPCi, I don't see that at all.
>>23405100I think my major problems with the dub are the voices being miscast and the script writing being overly slang and alliteration filled: if they tweaked their voices to make them age appropriate, and the script stop being so terrible, I'd have much less issue with the TPCi dub than I do.
