And it was awesome. I was sticking exclusively to Viz releases but I went fuck it on the final Black/White volumes and went ahead and read it online. Same with Emerald.

Regardless really enjoyed what I read. Black/White and Gold/Silver/Crystal are the best arcs brother. Platinum and HG/SS arcs are the drizzling shits though.

What's everyone's favorite arcs, characters, moments from this awesome children's manga?

I'm actually currently reading through the D/P arc. It's not exactly thrilling so far and Diamond and Pearl's double acts aren't funny at all, but I find "Berlitz" infinitely more likeable than her anime counterpart.

Keep on it man. They stop doing it eventually. And yeah it was annoying as hell mainly cause they interrupted battles with that shit and ruined the pacing of the manga.

It's pretty solid but I was disappointed in the Platinum arc.

RS arc is probably my favorite, it was what I wanted to see in a Pokemon movie as a kid actually happen. The gym leaders/E4 all being good people doing their fucking jobs protecting their region after the first few arcs where half of them were evil shits was refreshing, not to mention Steven and Norman being suicidal badasses at the end there. Too bad Emerald was so terrible.

Never cared much for RBY and Mato's art got shit when it became just chibis everywhere, but GSC arc is pretty good. Crystal's hyper competence was great. I just wish they'd spent less time on Suicune running around.

It's a pretty slow arc, but it does get better. Not great outside of the Dexholders relationship, but okay.

Platinum was rushed because the big amount of legendaries and ended up being dissapointing, but it's nowhere near shit, and HGSS is great.

My favorite arcs are RBY,RS,DP and BW.

Well, it's japanese humor, the lowest of the low. Diamond and Pearl are great characters regardless.
