>>23401249Literally everything related to competitive battling and teambuilding is better in ORAS. The Battle Resort has day-care and IV checker right next to each other so you don't need Fly for that shit. When it comes to EV training, ORAS has 100% chance hordes for all stats. This is not the case in XY, where for example there is no place where you're guaranteed to find a horde that gives HP EVs so you're constantly interrupted by hordes that you don't need.
Now that I think about it, this seems to be the case with all stats except Defense, and that has a 100% horde only in X version. In ORAS you can also use Sweet Scent under weather conditions, and this helps tremendously especially since two relevant hordes (Sandshrew and Oddish) are in areas where there is either constant or extremely common weather condition. Anyone who has tried to EV train Attack in XY knows how horrible it is. When it comes to leveling up, ORAS has Blissey bases for quick leveling (you can find QR codes for those). And finally, all currently existing Megas are usable in ORAS. There's literally no reason to do any of this stuff in XY
which is a shame since XY are otherwise superior to ORAS.
