Alternative, what places in real life do you think would be cool pokemon regions?

Having recently gone there, I know I think a Hawaiian Island inspired region would be pretty cool.

Alternatively, a Chernobyl based region would be kickass for a Pokemon Colosseum/XD Gale of Darkness style game.
