He's pretty much all you need for competitive battling (Singles). He really has a strong understanding of each 'X-Used' Smogon meta. Shofu is good too but has been kinda fading away from the scene -- he's getting rusty. Shofu's battle on Youtube against Maxprotect is what got me into competitive battling, it was pretty inspiring.

This guy is the go-to for VGC. He has the most experience on it and consistently tops, even appearing at World's a few times. Last I saw, he was like #4 on the Battle Spot Doubles ladder for the US, and even just won a whole tournament a few months ago at Apex.
