>>23412471This, I'm confident on the fact the E4 fags have a high RNG support and they sure are better than the average npc trainers for the sole fact they can switch back to a resist when hit by a SE move and that they can use a NVE or neutral move over a SE one when your Pokemon is in a KO range and the player may consider to switch out. All things implemented and kept in Gen4 as well.
Although he could have used Rhydon at this point of the game.
>>23412575Agatha is pretty based in the rematch, all of the Kanto pure Poison types were much better before the split, physical Sludgebomb hits like a truck coming from Arbok and Crobat, or Muk and Weezing, and the Confusion tricks are as cancer as Phoebe strat, you either hit yourself or get poisoned while you heal the confusion, top stall trainers.
I honestly don't get why Charmader learns Metal Claw theme wise, doesn't help against Rock types either, very goofy addition.
Also disappointed on how shit Beedrill still was in FRLG, all the best moves were implemented in DPP and HGSS with Poison Jab and X-Scissor and FRLG best shot was Sludge Bomb.
Basically Butterfree was once again a more reliable Pokemon to catch. Used Beedrill regardless but it was a pain to train.
