Back when it was yet Pokemon General, there never was any fucking kind of bias towards getting a pokemon, whether they were legit, legal, or just hacked. Hell, people like QNQNX, Cadmus, Andrew and even fucking Nergal were very civil and helped with stuff about genning or breeding if you asked them correctly and weren't a faggot. And i fucking know that they had a tremendous circlejerk all the time, but the times i asked something pokemon related, they did deliver stuff and to the fucking point.
But oh well, this is the present; the grave /vp/ in general dug when they wanted to drive away meta thread circlejerk, and they did by replacing an established community of many years from /v/, with what once was a vocal minority of shitposters, contrarians, and elitists little by little, to the point we are now.
Can't believe what i'm saying but i fucking miss everyone of the old /vp/. Distro Guy and his threads, as well as those in the Genning and PGs were more useful than seeing the fucking first page filled to the brim with pepe shit and other useless crap
