If no burn and you boost attack attack, then you are just down a boost, but you get the kill, boost boost attack was superior in this situation, but not by a whole lot, especially if you think you have the bulk to boost again against a different mon.
If Burn, then boost attack attack gets you the kill, but your mon is crippled on attack, however, if boost boost attack YOUR MON IS STILL CRIPPLED ON ATTACK AND YOU DON'T GET THE KILL. Greeding was the clearly inferior option in this situation, enough so that it is not worth the benefit that it gets you if the 70% chance hits. The only time it WOULD be the correct play is that if you KNOW that you can sweep the rest of the team at +2 but could not at +1, then it might be worth the risk, but you have to acknowledge that it is a gamble and not a sure thing just cause the chance of it going wrong is less than 50%
