Furthermore, as you can see easily in pic related, Dragon-Ice, Dragon-Rock and Dragon-Grass are all WORSE type combinations than pure Normal and pure Bug (which are both very common early game), and Dragon-Grass is even worse than pure Grass and pure Ice. I'm sorry anons, but that's mathematical.
FURTHERMORE, pic related is outdated: it was made before last Gen and introduction of Fairy type, which nerfs Dragon, meaning that today these types are even worse.
Now, if you want to make a bad pokemon, whether its types are good or not, it's very easy: use its stats, its movepool, and its ability. Even with a type combination such as Steel-Ghost you CAN make an extremely bad pokemon. Just have some good will, thank you.
