Is Pokemon some kind of glorified/idealized cockfighting?
I don't get how some people is okay with Pokemon but revile Cockfighting, I personally don't care because chicken is delicious.
I see all kinds of activism surrounding Pokemon lately: feminism, environmentalism, animal rightists, etc. I don't discard them beforehand, I believe they can coexist peacefully but for some reason that's not the case. I often read articles from people who just give the games or the anime too much thought, like, for example, that article about Leonora's race and her interracial marriage... Why does it matter? What does it change? Normalization? Wasn't it normal before?

So tell me /vp/ what are your thoughts about it, or if you hold dear any theory or ideology feel free to share it and defent it.
