What would you want to see in a new mystery dungeon game, assuming one is in the works and will definately exist?

I wouldn't mind a more fantasy setting in general, given how many generic RPG monster Pokemon gen 6 gave us. It would be fun for a one-time thing.

I think a pokemon rpg similar to a classic FF setting would be rad.

Still turn based but you would have a PP pool and moves stacked way past four.
Evolutions would be like a class change, almost and could incorporate abilities somehow.

I think if they kept the formula for PMD Explorers but kept the gates idea of global exp, put in a national dex, and the number of dungeons (without making them DLC) and you're golden. Also god tier OST is a must

I would want Yoshitaka Amano to do a concept sketch for a pokemon that makes it's debut in the mystery dungeon game, I wish games today would have surprises, while i'm playing the game.
And yeah, i would want a more main line final fantasy format, not a chocobo's dungeon ass game.

Malamar as the new Absol/Grovyle/Hydreigon.

Evil team consisting of Sylveon, Slurpuff, and Aromatisse.

Experienced team consisting of Metagross (Mega), Tyrantrum, and Noivern. Fought as optional boss.

Aegislash, Diancie, Trevenant, and Diggersby as important characters.

Final boss is Zygarde. Postgame final boss is Hoopa.

All the Pokemon to be included with Mega Evolution. Probably with IQ that's so high.
Special episodes like in Sky to expand major characters backstories.

Make it like Sky in almost every way but even better.
