Ability becomes Inner Focus.

While this is actually kinda cool and gives it the largest BST boost of any mega, with 160 points added to the base form (since Zen Mode adds 60 BST too), it isn't really what most Darmanitan fans would have in mind. Most Darmanitan fans like it for being a fast wallbreaker, which this is anything but. Have you seen Darmanitan's special movepool? The poor thing doesn't even learn Psyshock and gets walled by pink blobs now.

Design is that is ear fur fluffs up into a pointy wizard hat and it grows an epic moustache and beard. It also gets a second burning stick, but it goes in its butt like when it was Braixen. This is supposed to piss off the waifu fags by making it look like an old wizard man.

112 Def (+40)

Stats just shore up its defenses and give it more boost to its dump stat, attack, than the one that matters, Special attack.

Ability becomes Telepathy, making it only good in doubles. At least you can spam EQ and Surf now and it won't get killed by friendly fire.

Mega Sawsbuck becomes Grass/Fighting and gains literally Virizion's stat's with less HP and 1slightly more Defense to make up for Virizion having more HP, which we can't change. Seriously, it has 475 BST while Virizion has 580 BST.

Also, Sawsbuck's ability becomes Justified.

Why would anyone use Mega Sawsbuck when Virizion exists and can hold an item?

With that ability and a decent stat spread (say, 55/65/90/55/110/115), Ice Punch/Thunder Punch/PuP/Drain Punch 2HKOes everything after a boost. The only things that actually survive multiple +4 attacks are Unaware users.
If you go full Mega Beedrill and make it Bug/Fighting with 55/125/50/5/110/145, you don't even need to boost. The only thing you'd need +4 for is OHKOing Talonflame with Mach Punch, which you'd run over Drain Punch.
Minimizing Attack is probably the only way to do Multifists without getting an express ticket to Ubers/AG.

What if Mienshao was slower, somewhat bulkier, and more specially oriented to take advantage of a special movepool that spans, what, 8 attacks? And didn't have Regenerator? Or even Mega Launcher?

I can't think of a design that would adequately alienate/enrage enough fans short of turning it into something completely different, like a glass of orange juice.
