All trainer Pokémon are higher levelled and "special" trainers (gym leaders, rival etc) have more Pokémon. Their movesets may differ as well but I'm not sure of that.

I don't know, but White 2 was the hardest Pokemon game I've played, at least on early and mid game. My team was underleveled for some reasons.

If youre playing for challenge change shift to set. Also, try Volt White 2 or Blaze Black 2. They alter some typings and movesets IE: Hitmontop gets Drain Punch.

Are you playing on a DS? Because you'll need someone who has already unlocked Challenge Mode to unlock it on your game.

B/W2 is hands-down the best game in the series, and Challenge Mode was a great idea, but holy shit, the implementation of it was done poorly.

nope, me and a friend had black/white 2, i gave him challenge mode from my black 2 and he actually couldn't give it back to me once i restarted my game. years later and i'm still baffled at how fucking stupid unlocking challenge mode is.
