Bakura's office was comfortable, if not somewhat spartan compared to the luxuries Adam's borrowed body had grown accustomed to. Certainly he could do far worse. Life with one missing hand and one immobile hand was difficult, but soon it would matter little to the boy how many limbs this body had lost.

They just had to make it to the abandoned base in Siberia without dying or becoming accosted by Russians... Or worse.

Perhaps this was why Bakura had been so willing to lend his aid... It seemed that he was rather in somewhat of a similar situation to his own.

The boy's silence was deafening, perhaps moreso than Cain's incessant insulting drivel. But, Adam knew he had to keep silent. Every word he spoke was an ounce of concentration diverted to something other than keeping Cain in check.

He would have no recourse but to wait for Bakura to recover. Hopefully by that time, a new chopper will have arrived to replace the broken one. Having to walk to Siberia on foot was a deadly proposition.

Sleep would be difficult, if not impossible without risking giving Cain control; to say nothing of the immense pain and discomfort that always accompanies broken ribs, a shattered eye socket, the loss of one hand, and the paralysis of the other.

The best that could be done, for the moment, would be to sit back with eyes closed, and hope that sleep came soon.

Morning eventually did come, Bakura moving his Weavile off of its spot resting on top of him, almost shocked at how well he had managed to sleep thanks to Nobody's help. Still there was much to be done before he could actually rest. Properly disposing of Cain was apparently first on the list, and unless anything else came up, acquiring that egg he had been told of would come second.

They took off, flying towards Russia over the ocean. Most of the time over the water Bakura spent starting at his phone, trying to figure out just how he was supposed to get close enough to find it, having only just discovered that "Siberia" wasn't very specific.

Thankfully he figured it out before they had reached land, and soon his Articuno was flying low in the air as its trainer scoped out the area, zeroing in on their destination.

The inside of the facility was dusty, and the state it had been left in indicated that it had been abandoned in a hurry. The lights were dim, but miraculously still held charge after four years of inactivity. Flickering as the group made their way through the halls, as though any minute they would go out.

The signs were all in Cyrillic, and though Bakura would not understand the language, he would recognize specific sequences of characters used based on what he had seen in Cain's mind. Lucky for him, this path lead only one way, away from the rooms where the more sordid of human experimentation had been performed.

Eventually, the party would find themselves in a room most familiar. Large, dusty glass tubes, a familiar Russian sign, a desk with notes written in Japanese, by a female's hand from the way the characters had been written. A singular diagram of a human body, with various notes scribbled over many portions, lay hidden underneath the aforementioned notes. The garbage can was full of crumpled pieces of paper, and the security camera that sat in the corner of the room appeared to have been shot several times.

In the back of the room, behind the dusty glass tube, sat a freezer, miraculously still cold after all these years. Inside, sat the last sample of Keehl Lorenz's DNA, preserved and frozen.

Japanese was easy for him, with how long he had lived in Kanto, although originally he had just let his host's mind read the characters. He scanned over Fran's notes, sparing the room some anxious glances, curiosity almost being enough to make him ask about the circumstances that had caused it to be abandoned.

He paused at the question, not looking up from the notes.

"I'll admit, I hadn't given it much thought. There's always been a rush, some hatred, either a need to end a life so mine can continue, or simply wanting someone dead. A mercy kill..." He tried to focus on making enough sense of the notes to pull the first part off.

Well, yes, it was rather unreasonable for an ancient spirit to have one of those. He possessed a body and knowledge of not dying, and that was about it. Following straightforward written directions though? Easy enough. Facing what he still denied were fears and braving the rest of the facility? Not as easy. Staying in said facility for the three days plus however long it took to finish the process itself? He really wished he had dragged Ryou along.

He sat down now, pulling the discarded paper from the trash. Carefully he flattened them out, sending his Weavile to make trips running back and forth for snow to fill the tube as he read over just what else he needed.

Maybe he'd earn some respect from the guys down in the lab. He wasn't sure if Fran would be impressed, but it would probably be worth more, seeing as she didn't believe him about his own nature...

Whoever had designed this facility, some Russian genius of architectural design, had enough wisdom to take advantage of the fact that Siberia is really fucking cold, and placed the cold storage facility in a place where the cold of the outside was all it required to keep sensitive things cold.

It also, from the looks of things, was where someone had in their hurry to depart from the facility, disposed of several corpses, who in the frigid cold had been kept safe from the ravages of decay. Ew, that's gross and nasty.

Barring the trio of dead bodies, Bakura would find most of the enzymes required to jump-start cellular division within the cold storage facility, along with the preservatives required to keep the growing body from falling apart as it slept, nutrients to ensure it grew up big and strong, etc...

Bakura just had to make sure that the dead bodies didn't get in his way, and didn't gross him out enough that he was unable to perform his duties- Because Adam sure wasn't able to do it for him.

Anyways, the bodies probably phased him the least out of anything else here, even the snow. What kind of desert had snow? It was an insult. The bodies were even preserved by the cold. He'd avoid touching them if he could, casually pushing them aside if they were blocking anything. It's not like he had known the owners of the bodies and hated them, he wasn't going to mess with their resting place more than he needed to. He didn't need to be the first ancient Egyptian spirit cursed by modern mummies.

Meanwhile his Weavile was willfully oblivious, just gathering more and more snow, filling up the tube.

Thinking about the ramifications of playing god was good for taking his mind off of just where he was as he worked though, and considering his vague life/death goals, he might as well think about it when he was just 'playing'.

Eventually, after what felt like ages of following the instructions while also thinking about trivial things like if he had actually been a father before he had died the first time around or if he was remembering that from one of Marik's comic books, he had finished. The preparation for the clone to actually start forming, at least.

He was glad he hadn't needed to explore the other halls, but now he didn't want to spend the next three days hiding in a single room, and he hated the cold that he wasn't about to sit outside to avoid it. Anyway, three days passes pretty slowly while you're waiting for your maybe-not-quite-but-maybe-son to be "born", especially when you spend your time in a spooky abandoned research facility. But you can rest easy, because three days is up now, and the body has finished growing. All that's left now is to drain the tank, kill Cain, and forcibly excise whatever soul was in this body so Adam could take it for his own.

The body in question, as Bakura would probably have expected, looked identical to the one currently standing beside him, though this new one was both far less active, and in possession of one limb more than the one that stood beside the thief king. It was also nude. Not sure how well Bakura handled male nudity, but whatever. Just throwing that out there in case it's an issue. Clothes would have to come from the body of the second child, once Bakura had completed his mission and killed Cain. Torn, burnt, and in shambles as they were, the dark formal attire was all that either of them had to clothe the third child's body.

It was time; the moment that he had worked to achieve was finally here.

Whatever magic Giratina had wrought into that blade was potent beyond any mortal craft. Speaking of, the ride was mostly uneventful for Mike and his team, after the initial warding off of the final attack force. Most of the Pokemon simply breathed sighs of relief, but the trainer was much worse off. Given what he'd been through, it was no surprise that Mike did nothing but stare, and not even at anything in particular. Surprisingly, the verdict was to move on. Going after the Silph remnants would just cause more casualties, and he was here to help the glitches, not send them to their destruction. With a sharp grunt, a figure clad in red leaps up onto the boat, posing in the sunlight, which would suddenly appear if it wasn't already sunny. After posing for a bit, the figure calls out to Min and strikes a thumbs up.The group would find it odd that swishing noises seem to accompany each of his movements.

"SHOOTING ACROSS THE GALAXY, THE BURNING ENGINE, ROCKET RANGER...... RED!"

A bomb of red smoke goes off directly behind the figure, as if announcing his arrival.

"CALL FORTH YOUR PASSION LIKE AN EXPLODING ROCKET. CALL YOUR NAME, BLACK ROCKET RANGER!"

With that the figure fades away into thin air.

Eventually, Bakura would awaken from his peaceful sleep in the infirmary. At the foot of his medical cot a Beedrill is just waking up, a few trails of purple smoke fading away around it. Standing up, it reveals a small yellow and black cat's eye marble that had been resting beneath it. Across the room he can see the Pokeball of Marik's Beedrill, still occupied and resting on the end table.

Looks like Bakura really did bring back a souvenir from the Dreamworld. All that's left is to give it a Pokeball and a name.

So now that was taken care of. Still so much he had to get done. After parting ways with Adam he was already multitasking, trying to send Anthony an email from his phone, briefly noting that he had one last task to take care of before they could put their plan into action. As he was doing this he also made his way to the infirmary simply to confirm that Marik was, in fact, still alive, while gradually realizing just what he had accomplished in those three days in Siberia.

His Beedrill once again was clung to his back, like it had spent most of the time in the Dream World doing. Apparently a 'bond' was needed for mega evolution, and he was pretty sure the marble that the Beedrill held was one of the mega stones.

As Bakura reaches the other side of the crater and steps up onto solid ground, the area beyond Spear Pillar darkens as though seen through tinted glass. He finds himself standing on a small platform with a triangle on it. Black Mage and the glitches are behind him.

Ahead are intact ruins, a set of stairs leading up onto a large stone altar. Pillars not unlike those that used to dot the Spear Pillar prior to its destruction stand throughout the area.

The altar is at least as large around as a common home, made out of white stone blocks. At the center of it rests a deceptively small egg for likely containing a recovering fragment of creation itself.

The egg is pure white except for a golden star or cog shape on one side, resembling the golden frame around Arceus' body. There does not appear to be anything guarding it - then again, the only way in here is with that flute Bakura was given.

Guns and swords and shit are a thing that happens. Generally bullets are treated as moderate damage attacks that are SE vs Humans, but NVE vs types that would logically resist them - Ghost, Steel, Rock, etc.

Melee weapons and hand-to-hand combat is expressed using appropriate moves. Slam, Slash, Tackle, Scratch, Karate Chop, Circle Throw, etc. If you hit someone with a burning object like a torch it'd probably be something like 'Tackle, but Fire Type'.

"We're nearly there, folks!" comes a call from the driver of the boat.

Close enough now to see the shore of Ransei, what stands out immediately is a large clear dome rising up out of the surrounding thick green plantlife. The beach is small, and the Rocket driver stops giving the gas any go a little ways out from shore. The boat slowly comes to a halt and drops anchor.

"I'm not sure I want to go back past miss samurai, so I'll be hopping off to enjoy the local delights wherever I'm least likely to be mistaken for an encroaching enemy. Ciao amigos!" the man climbs off the boat and swims/wades the last bit of water between them and shore.
