>>23446996That's not even slightly right. Most of the star Pokemon from the EX series still go for tons. Rayquaza star goes for like 150 and Charizard goes for like 100+. You'd be hard pressed to find any star Pokemon for less than like 40 dollars. Shining Pokemon are the same way with most of them (bar magikarp) being like 30-50 dollars. (Shining Charizard at 90+)
Skyridge Charizard is up to like 150-250 dollars. Shadow less base set Charizard is still like 60 dollars
A few promos also hold their value extremely well. Google Championship Arena, Tropical Beach, and Tropical Tidal Wave.
The whole idea of people being unassuming against prices is that people with cards worth anything probably already sold them, highly likely never got the 1/500 chance of being the one person who got something worth something, or didn't play competitively to get the latter cards I mentioned worth 400+ dollars or else they would have already known their cards values.
