There are nine other fully-evolved Pokemon that share Farfetch'd's type combination, compared to just one for Delibird. They're both bottom of the barrel choices, but being massively outclassed has always been the punchline to the Wild Duck; keeping the Spearow you traded for it in Gen I would've netted you the superior Fearow [which is currently outclassed by Dodrio in FU] just a few levels later. Besides, the only reason to use Delibird are hazards, since it has access to both Spikes and Rapid Spin
the latter of which is a cruel joke considering how it fares against SR and only in FU does 'mon choice become dire enough to justify using it.
Besides, Farfetch'd did get a species-exclusive item and access to powerful moves to make it relevant in-game. Delibird isn't even good in single-player.
