Bear with me fellows,
Since gen one the designs always appealed to me but the overall world and structure just bored me.
Nothing extraordinary ever happened in the games in comparison to the other rpgs. it was always the same routine until more recent titles.
>same self insert trainers
>same adventures
>different areas
I always just yearned for a a group of monsters in a monster world trying to fight the forces of evil in a really bizarre world; fighting brutal enemies.
Inb4 mystery dungeon
Digimon's Xros wars was honestly what I wanted it all the series to be since the inception; a monster centric story, with a monster protagonist, trying to claim glory.
Did anyone else feel this way or was it just me?
