>>23459050I've only heard them be called cupcakes, and candy floss/cotton candy are way more common than fairy floss. There are specific types of cupcakes which are called fairy/butterfly cakes though, look up "butterfly cupcakes" and you'll find them.
In Australia they have fairy bread which is sprinkles on buttered white bread and it's actually not too bad.
