Ok so we all know pokemon injection has almost completely died off, but is there any word about it being upgraded for potential use in the future again?

I'm not too knowledgeable on the goings on, but I think no, it's just that the only easy way to access the 3DS's RAM (via the web browser) was patched.

Yeah I know the reason of why it no longer worked was due to a patch, but I didn't know if someone was still working with it and seeing if they could upgrade to it to be compatible with the newer patches. Hell, guess it's back to playing the waiting game.

I'm strongly undecided on whether I should inject a living dex with useful egg moves and whatnot and update my 3DS or keep it unpatched and wait for the inevitable N3DS-exclusive Z version.

The web browser exploit that was used for injecting mon has been patched. So in order for injection to come back they need to find a new exploit or a new way to access the 3DS' RAM with relative ease, which could take years or straight out be impossible to do.

So it's either go and play bike simulator again or go back to powersaves.

I'm so glad I haven't upgraded my old 3DS. It doesn't have the update where themes got added but the browser exploit works. I'll use it for injecting someday.
