Gen VII announced; The following changes are implemented:
>135 New pokemon (Not including megas)
>6 New Legendaries of those five (A trio, a pixie, and two opposing legendaries)
>Pokemon variations are now a thing; you can find them in certain areas in the wild; based on their variation they have a buff in X stat (IE, Winter Sawsbuck now has higher defense but lower speed, Fall Sawsbuck has higher speed but lower defense, etc.)
>There are 4 variants of each pokemon, not including legendaries and Dittos
>There are bred variations now as well--these CANNOT be found in the wild. They can also add buffs (IE, Charizard mother+Dragonite father= Charmander with a "gem" on it's forehead and a slightly rounder body, this increases Sp.Atk but lowers Speed). This can alternate with different eggs however
>Still only 2 types max per pokemon, however pokemon can "inherit" a type from the father, IE: Charizard mother (Fire/flying) + Dragonite (Dragon/Flying) can yield fire/dragon (Very rare, however).
>You still only have to capture 856 pokemon; different variations & bred variations aren't necessary for the pokedex in order to complete it, but they WILL be shown in the dex
>Story can have 1 of three endings, good, bad, & neutral, depending on what you choose to do
>Large postgame, including several battle towers and contest halls specifically for pokemon variants and bred variations; you can also rebattle gym leaders for a chance to get a rare variant pokemon/bred variant pokemon
>You can visit Orre and battle/capture pokemon there post-game as well as following a post-game story (similar to the delta episode)
>Four new fossils (8 fossil pokemon total)
>All staters given mega evolutions (Johto, Sinnoh, Unova, new region)
>Other than starters, 30 other megas introduced
>Fairies now take x2 damage from fire attacks
Hows that /VP/?
